Smooth, flat surfaces work best. Painted walls, tiles, glass, metal, and wood panels all hold strongly. For textured or rough walls, the adhesive won't grip as well. If your wall is heavily textured, try mounting to a small wooden board first, then hang the board with a picture hook.
No. We spent two months testing specifically to avoid this. The adhesive holds firmly but removes cleanly without leaving marks, residue, or pulling off paint. Renter-friendly and landlord-approved. If your paint is very old or already peeling, test a small hidden area first.
