7 Reasons Why I Love My Padded Prayer Mat

Let me save you from wasting time and dealing with the knee pain I used to have during sujood.

I tried stacking multiple thin mats together, putting pillows under my knees, and only praying on the carpet so I could reduce the pain a little, but none of it worked. Then I found one padded prayer mat that completely changed everything for me.

Here are the 7 reasons why I love my padded prayer mat:

It's incredibly soft and comfortable

1.It's incredibly soft and comfortable

Honestly, my knees used to literally click during sujood on my old thin mat. I was all the time moving in sujood so I can reduce the pain. But this one? It’s like praying on a cloud. My old mat was basically a rug and I was praying directly on the floor...

The design is beautiful

2.The design is beautiful

I’m obsessed with how beautiful it looks. Mine is called Barakah and I love it, it has floral designs all around but it’s not distracting at all. BTW, I have the magnet to hang it on the wall as well and it looks really elegant in my room.

It's much bigger than other mats

3.It's much bigger than other mats

You know, normally mats are so tiny... my toes always end up being off the edge or my forehead. This one is way bigger and wider! Now I can basically pray freely hah.

Now I pray with more khushu

4.Now I pray with more khushu

It’s crazy how much physical comfort changes your focus. Before when I was in sujood, I was moving my legs to change the pressure on my knees and ankle. Now, I'm finishing my prayer and even staying in the same position for tasbeeh. In fact, that's what I LOVE MOST!

The quality is unmatched

5.The quality is unmatched

You know, we all had those cheap mats that collects dust and looks old. My mom has one too and she literally wipes dust off her palms after every prayer and throws it later! But after using mine for months (5 times everyday btw) it still looks like the first day.

Reactions from the others

6.Reactions from the others

For men maybe this is not the case but... as a woman, I also do like the reactions I'm getting. Whoever is visiting my home and praying on my mat, they mention how nice it looks, it was so enjoyable to pray on it etc and then they ask for the brand of course haha. IDK, it kinda feels good to me.

Donation from my order

7.Donation from my order

Lastly the donation part... for some of the people this might not be a big deal but after I learned a portion of my prayer mat order was getting donated to different charities it made me feel nice and felt like a meaningful purchase in other ways as well, not only the fact that I'd be praying better...
